The Standards Committee

The FEFCO Standards Committee objective is to be recognized as the competent authority within the European Corrugated Board Industry in the field of technical testing and technical standardisation of corrugated board materials and products including future developments in this field. It is responsible for drafting, updating and publishing FEFCO testing methods applicable in each corrugated plant and designed to guarantee the reliability of the specifications for corrugated board and boxes. This initiative reinforces the growing confidence in corrugated board as packaging material.

In addition, the Committee is responsible for the FEFCO/ESBO Fibreboard Case Code which is currently being updated and is also contributing to the work of CEN and ISO organisations.
